Panama city has an interesting nightlife and is able to compete with any city of similar size. There are choices to be found for any taste and wallet size. But where to go if you are unfamiliar with the city? We will tell you about a few major areas of interest.
Calle Uruguay
This is a small street behind Ave. Balboa full of bars, restaurants in the heart of the chic district. You may have dinner in the restaurant and later move to a karaoke or a nightclub. There is an English bar, disco of various styles. Although the place may seem too noisy at first, and if you would like to spend your evening in a more relaxing place, then check Casco Viejo, the next area in our list.

Casco Viejo
The old town of Panama city is under reconstruction and it is truly in one of it glorious times. There are tens of places full of culture and vibe. As most of blocks have been restored, this has recently become a great place to spend time and even to stay in Panama. There are places to eat and dance both for very demanding guest and for people on a budget. Do not forget that you are surrounded by atmosphere of old squares, monuments, beautiful ocean views and colonial architecture. If you have been to Panama, but haven’t visited Casco Viejo, you saw nothing.

Amador
Amador Causeway is a strip of land that connects several island in the bay of Panama City. There are wonderful views of the sunset and the ships going through the Canal. After refreshing promenade, which is the best in the city, you can find a place to sit among many restaurants and bars on the islands.
We recommend: Barco , Albertos, Bucanero
There are also other areas in the city you can visit. Among Via Argentina – a street with a good selection of inexpensive restaurants, just take a walk through it and stop anywhere you like. Also there are more and more places now opening in San Francisco, a mostly residential district full of modern high-rises. Here you may visit Libar, which has a large terrace and located in Sheraton hotel. Marbella area offers several clubs and restaurants like Club Nuvo, lounge bar Perla or great bar and disco in Hard Rock Hotel.
Panama City has a lot to offer, just don’t be lazy to explore it!
