VII Summit of the Americas in Panama

The VII Summit of the America will be held I Panama on April 10-11 in Atlapa Convention Center. The Center will be a stage for many heads of states, honorary members and staff. At the same time Panama City will host multiple supporting activities which will include students, scientists, business groups and entrepreneurs and many others. Among most anticipated guests are the President Barack Obama, Cuban leader Raul Castro,  Venezuela’s president Nicolas Maduro and over 30 over heads of the states.

At the same time multiple events will be held all around Panama City. Evo Morales, the president of Bolivia, confirmed his participation at the Summit of the People held in the University of Panama.

Also he it is planned that he will engage in social activities such as playing football with indigenous people and different work unions.

Other presidents and heads of governments are expected to participate in events parallel to Summit of Americas. For example, Luis Guillermo Solis, president of Costa Rica, will participate in a youth forum on April 8th and 9th. At the forum young generation will present their innovative ideas and solutions related to the topics of the Summit.

President of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, will participate in civil society forum on April 10th, which will be also attended by the presidents of Brazil, Mexico and US.

At the same time, the presidents of Carribean countries will also be present at the Summit and will dedicate their attention to the problems of Caribbean communities.

With all the big news, don’t miss  the International Film Festival which will re-open this year in Panama on April 9th.
