The University of Panama is introducing at least 25 new programs in the new curriculum. Further 55 are already under development. All programs contain classes in English and they guarantee further fluency of this language for its graduates.
The new strategy of the university is called “Commitment to Excellence”. Programs are developed within the recent research of the labor market in Panama in order to avoid anachronism. The new programs lie within the fields of medicine, science, communications, tourism, engineering and technologies.
New faculty of engineering will offer courses in 12 programs, such civil construction, industry construction, production process management, risk management and environmental safety.
All the programs are made for 4-5 years period and the graduates will receive real life experience and extensive language course.
Besides, the university is switching schedule from semester to trimester system. All tech programs will cover three cycles each 16 weeks long with annual vacation between 16 of December to 15 of January.
