The new underground parking soon to be opened in Panama City

The resolution for underground parking spaces has been signed and soon to begin the construction of 1,400 new lots. The contracts have already been signed with several companies among them Estacionamientos Unidos.

The planned investments are $14 million from Estacionamientos Unidos who will construct 362 parking spaces under Via Porras and 449 spaces under Avenida Cuba and Peru. One more underground parking is planed to be built under the building Harry Strunz Park between the streets 50 and 57.

The Government under the President Martinelli is going through wide infrastructure program which should improve general traffic situation of Panama Ctiy. The program includes the first line of the metro, development of the existing bus system, building numerous overpasses and tunnels and the developing parking spaces which was mentioned above.
