Bank Accounts

Tropical Realty Panama offers to open bank accounts in trusted local and international banks in Panama.

We help with bank selection, which is suitable for you or your offshore company and arrangement of necessary documents.

In case of company registration you don’t have to be present, but the same cannot be said in case of bank accounts, so be ready to plan your visit Panama in person.

Necessary documents for an individual:

• At least two recommendation letters from previous banks;
• Letter from current work place (position and salary);
• Tax declaration for the last two years;
• Copy of passport;
• A copy of the second ID (driver’s license etc.).
• Origin of the funds (real estate contract etc.)

Usually also the following documents are required:

• Two letters of recommendation;
• Company charter;
• Tax returns of the company (in the case of opening a branch);
• Origin of the funds in case you expect to receive them overseas (contracts transactions, etc.).
