Japan is going to finance two new projects in Panama, one of which is the viaduct to enter the city from the western side, as well as the new system of monorail in one of the fastest growing districts of Panama Chorrera.
The President Ricardo Martinelli has announced that at the moment he is waiting for a confirmation of the Japanese representatives for the investments funds to be approved. The funds will be transferred in a form of credit for the following 40 years with a 10 year preferential period with interest at only 1%.
This project will be a part of metro system which includes line one and two of Panama metro as well as the connection of south and north corridor.
