Many international companies are contracted in order to complete dredging, land reclamation, landscaping and other works.
At this point the project has gone far and there were more than 480,000 cubic meters of ocean bottom rocks removed from the place and replaced with 650,000 cubic meters of foundation material. In order to protect the project from the weather and storm waves, there are several screens, which ensure that island will remain undamaged in any kind of conditions. Such screens are made of rock with different size, the first screen is made of rocks each with a size from 30 to 300 kg and acts as a filter for the waves. The second screen is made of bigger rocks, each with a weight of up to 2 tons; such screen consumes the energy of the waves.
