Inter Continental Hotel Group today announced the opening of its new Latina America Holiday Inn Express Panama located in the financial district of the city. This is the first Holiday Inn Express in the city.
"Holiday Inn Express is one of the fastest-growing hotel brands in the world, and we are thrilled to now have a location in Panama City," said Alvaro Diago, chief operating officer, Latin America and the Caribbean, IHG. "This is one of Central America's most prominent economies and is also a key tourist destination."
The new hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from many companies, restaurants, other hotels, and Punta Pacifica hospital. Big malls like Multicentro and Multiplaza are also nearby.
Vice President of IHG for Latina America and Caribbean , Gerardo Murray, mentioned that Panama city is a strategic place to continue the growth of the brand in Central America.
The features of the new hotel are high-speed internet access, outdoor swimming pool and sundeck, business center, fitness center. The new hotel offers comfortable, but affordable stay in the city and it is equipped with 196 rooms of different level.
