Free Tourist Insurance

It never hurts to remind our readers about the great bonus the tourists have got upon arrival to Panama. Free medical insurance is given free for everybody entering Panama through Tocumen International Airport in Panama City. Free insurance cards are located at the stands of the airport right after customs clearance zone. However, there is no necessity to bring that card along, as you can simply show the entrance stamp in your passport, and if it was made within 30 past days, you have a valid insurance.

The insurance can cover big part of the expenses in case of an emergency or a sudden sickness.

With such measures Panamanian government hopes to increase tourist inflow into the country and make the visitor feel more secure once inside. More information is available  at 209-9300 or 204-2312. There is English and Spanish speaking service.
