Changes in Corredor Norte rules

Starting June 17 all drivers while passing Corredor Norte will have to pay by appropriate card like earlier it was implemented at Corredor Norte. It is important to notice that South and North Corredor is managed by two different companies and they recently announced that they have no suitable technology to unite the payment system.

With the length over 10 km Corredor Norte connects Panama City with districts in the northern part of the city.

The Administration of Transport claims that the new rule is a part of improvement program which aims to fight traffic problems.

The card which allows to pass Corredor Norte costs $2 and minimum allowed fill is $5. Those who try to enter the highway without a card will be fined.
