One of the major sightseeing spots in Panama City Amador Causeway will receive its new portion of development. The land strip that connects the mainland and islands of Amador will be widened and cars will receive two additional lanes.
At the moment Amador is a popular place among local residents and tourists. There are obvious reasons for that – apart from breathtaking views of sunsets and passing ships, there are various restaurants, bars and disco and a great place for promenade. One of the unique structures is being constructed here as well – museum of biodiversity soon plans to open its doors to the visitors.
Last week the Ministry of Public Affairs closed tender for Amador expansion projects. It plans to spend $72.2 million dollars, however Ininco S.A. ,who won the tender, offered to do works for $66.5 million. The works are to begin by the end of 2013 and it should be completed within 18 months.
