Panama is recognized for its successful educational programs

Panama was recognized for its efforts in innovation and educational programs at the World Education Forum of 2013.

Lucy Molinar, Minister of Education admitted that finally education in Panama has become one of the major priorities and there numerous created to improve the level of education throughout the country. The ministry will continue with its efforts in this direction.

One of the key ideas in the discussion was that providing the computers and technology for the students does not necessarily mean improvement in education. Mentioned things are just mean of delivering information, the important tool for access to knowledge.

Among other things advances in technology were confirmed by Intel. It is expected that schools and institutions in Panama will receive more than 46,800 PC units in 2013 and mostly will be available for high school students.
