The Cheapest Fuel in Central America is in Panama

The fuel in Panama is the cheapest in the entire Central America, according the last research of the Central American Hydrocarbons Cooperation Committee (CCHAC its initials in Spanish).

The CCHAC compared prices of super, regular, diesel and liquid gas for the period of November 24 to 30.

The price of the super in Panama was $3.75 per gallon, regular $3.54 and diesel $3.61, while the average for the entire region was $4.39 (super), $4.18 (regular) and $4.11 (diesel).

The reasons for the lower fuel prices in Panama are tax incentives, the best transportation infrastructure and dollar economy.
