The founder of Microsoft visited Panama

The founder of Microsoft Corporation and one of the world’s richest man, Bill Gates, have recently visited Panama. He visited the Canal and later posted the news about his visit on www.thegatesnotes.com

In general, he looked really happy and speaks highly of the country. "I would put the Panama Canal and the country in the top 10 list of the most interesting places around the world,"   He said that many things have become a real eye-opener for him, manifested in the construction of political will and efforts of the people really surprised billionaire.

Bill Gates and his family embarked the ship on the Pacific side of the Canal and completed their pass through the Canal in seven hours later same day. They stopped in the Miraflores center for an observation of the Canal operations and Bill Gates noted that the computers in Miraflores center all operate under Windows OS. The family also visited the expansion of the Canal project which should be completed in about two years.
