Finally one of the biggest fairs in real estate in Panama is here. “Expovivienda” will become a major event of this week, starting Thursday, May 15 to Sunday, May 18 at the Atlapa Center. It is expected that more than 180 developers will present their projects, which mean they will sum up to 400. Among other participants there are banks and different government agencies which take a part in real estate industry of Panama. The entrance is free and doors will be opened on Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Visitors will find project for all budgets and locations, both from the City and provinces. The fair will cover the projects from residential tourism and retiree markets, like beach and mountains.
The event is organized by the Panama Chamber of Construction (CAPAC in Spanish). The event, as always will have a number of locations with buffets and cafeterias, workshops for obtaining different skills in order to improve your house. Another interesting event is “Skills Competition”. The winners will be found in tiling, plastering and building skills, the masters will be awarded.
Last year the fair proved to be a very effective business event registering deals for more than $150 million in transactions. Needless to say, it is expected that this year figure will surpass last year’s. If you need more information on the event, visit www.capac.org
